I'm in it for the margaritas and the chimichangas.
La Hacienda did it up great for our Mexican Monday girls night out! The space is expansive, menu exhaustive, and chips and salsa bottomless. We split a pitcher of the mango margarita and it was enough for 5 people to all have two glasses, a few to have 3. The portions are generous (hey-o tomorrows lunch!) and prices average. So far it's my favorite Mexican joint in the area. -

On my way in, I checked the specials which are posted on the window. Thursday's special
Includes a chimichanga and a soft drink for $6.29.
I sit at the bar, order my drink and food and then head to the front to pay. At the register, I inform the cashier that my total is wrong. It reads $7.99. He points to a sign inside the front doors that reads chimichanga and a drink for $7.99.
I informed him that there are two separate prices advertised and he says, "yeah I know, but it's $7.99." He took $1 off for me, making my bill not $7.71 after tax.
I can pay the price, but what happened to customer satisfaction?
I already had to flag my server down twice and ask someone to bring my bill. My water cage 2/3 full, I didn't drink it - was it a new water? Had someone already had some?
I know it's busy in there, but every consumer matters. -

This Carmel location is a nice one. They do have lunch and dinner specials depending on the day. The service is always good. A coworker and I meet here after work on Fridays. I will tell you, when you finish your food, they are ready for you to go. Even if you have a drink and still want another. That can be a little irritating. I understand if they want the table if you're just sitting there and not getting anything else. But when they do come to the table they're very nice and attentive.
They do not have a lot of Keto options, but they do have some great options otherwise! I love they're arro con pollo! They always cook the rice perfectly!
They have many good drink options. They aren't too expensive. A regular lime margarita is 5.99 for a 16 oz. They also do small pitchers or large pitchers. They can be pricey but may be worth it for a big party. They're open 11am to 10 pm Sun-Thur. They stay open until 10:30 on Friday and Saturday. -

I love Mexican food as you can tell if you look at my reviews. La Hacienda is very close to my work and I used to eat there all the time. It was nice to eat there again, I forgot how great the staff is. The food is always good and fast! I have the pollo fundido, and it was fantastic! Typically the sour cream is served on the items. I assure you if you visit La Hacienda you will enjoy!

Finally! After four years of searching the Indianapolis area for a good "Americanized" Mexican restaurant, I have found a keeper! They have enough typical dishes that Americans enjoy but also traditional Mexican food that's well made. Their salsa is great and I would recommend trying their al pastor tacos with a delicious margarita. I'm excited to try more menu items ASAP
